BHAP and BJEV Signed Strategic Agreement to Co-Build New Industrial Chain Ecosystem
October 9, Afternoon – BHAP and BJEV held a high-level meeting to deepen collaboration on automoitve parts integration and signed a framework agreement to strengthen supply-demand chain cooperation. Attendees included Zhang Guofu, Party Secretary and General Manager of BJEV; Li Jingang, Party Secretary and Chairman of BHAP; Chen Geng, Deputy Party Secretary and President of BHAP and management teams from both parties.
Deepening Collaboration Mechanism
The parties exchanged insights on BJEC's upcoming vehicle models, BHAP's new industrialization product portfolio, and R&D advancements from its member enterprises. Discussions focused on progress of joint projects. Over 10 BHAP subsidiaries currently provide automotive parts and systems for multiple BJEC vehicle models.
Innovating Synergistic Models
Aligned with BAIC Group’s “Integrated Self-Driven Development” strategy, the agreement targets breakthroughs in new energy and intelligent connectivity. It aims to deepen vehicle-parts collaboration mechanisms, enhance independent core capabilities, fortify supply chain resilience, and establish a partnership characterized by shared benefits, co-creation, and high-efficiency synergy.
Co-Building an Industrial Ecosystem
The collaboration will upgrade cooperation models in synchronized development, technology and capital partnerships, and channel resource sharing to accelerate BJEV‘s innovation. BHAP will prioritize strengthening and supplementing supply chains, advance forward-looking R&D, and empower vehicle upgrades with cutting-edge technologies. Together, the two parties will build a new BAIC Group supply chain ecosystem, driving the BAIC’s “Three-Year Leapforward Initiative.”
